Hey everyone, how's it going? Well I don't really know if this is the right place to post this, but oh well. Ok, well last thursday, I was sitting in class, doing some homework, when I noticed there was something wrong with my right eye. I could see some black lines and everything I looked at was blurry. I rubbed my eye, thinking it was a hair, and hoping it would go away, but it didn't. I went through my day, and when I got home from school, I told my mother and grandmother about it. So on friday my mother took me to an eye doctor in Holbrook. They did some tests on my eyes, and they found out that in one eye, the left, I had 20/30 vision, but in the other, the right, I had, are you ready for this? 20/200!!!! So they knew something was wrong with my eye, and they decided to dilate them, and man that was a terrible experience. Well, after they were dilated, they shinned a bunch of bright lights in my eye, so that they could see the retna or whatever, and they found something very very very bad. A vain in my eye had been bleeding, and it filled my eye up with blood. Isn't that gross? My eye right now is filled up with blood! Yuck. So anyway, the doctor told me that I have to stay in bed, but just for the weekend, and hopefully he can get this specialist, Dr. Doogle, to look at my eye, because this doctor is one of the best eye doctors in the world, and he will know what to do. So the receptionist(sp) called the hospital in Flagstaff, and they told her that I wouldn't be able to see him until the next friday! That means that I have to miss school for that whole week and I have to be in bed the whole time. That might sound nice to some of you, but I'm taking a class right now at the college, and if I miss five days of that class, I get kicked out. :( Even if I'm going blind in one eye! Doesn't that suck? So now my mom is going to make me go to school, even though that can cause me to go blind. :( I am really scared and worrying about what might happen, especially what they might have to do at the hospital. Of course they are going to dilate my eyes again, and they might have to perform lasor surgery on my eye. Yikes, it sounds scary and painful to me. I don't even know why this happened, the doctor told me it was very rare, he only got 4 patients a year, if he was lucky(rolls eyes), that had this problem, and it usually happened to the elderly. I'm not old! Not anywhere near old! Grrr! But anyway, I decided to share this with everyone, hoping to get some prayers. Maybe I should of put this in the prayers section. Oh well. Thanks for wasting your time and reading this. :) Bye.
