many of you might not have heard of this because of a limited release. But mystic river is about a guy (played by Sean Penn) whos daughter gets murdered. And 2 detectives (Kevin Bacon and Laurence Fishbourne) try and solve the murder. Sean Penn plays an excellent role and his acting is amazing. I think he is a great actor. and wow he really aged in this movie. Put all the things he said about the war in iraq aside, because this movie he is in is great.
