This is the new Kay Scarpetta novel I've been waiting forever for, but frankly I'm having trouble getting into it.
Usually the books are written in the first person, but not this one.
Scarpetta is in exile in Florida working as a private forensic consultant. The freak, Chandonne may be in prison, but it doesn't mean he still can't terrorize people.
There is a HUGE surprise for fans who have read all the books. I won't give it away, but I must say I didn't see it coming at all.
