"unexpected tears".....kronk

I have spent this morning reading-

Your words written, long ago-

Thoughts, ideas, good-natured razing-

When you wrote them, did you know?

That I might be, this day gazing-

Through a veil of tears. Oh, woe!

Going through the archives, again.

I can almost hear what I think your
voice might have sounded like.

Disembodied voices on telephones, only make me sad.

Date: 10/11/2003 6:14:00 PM  From Authorid: 42568    This makes me think of foolish loves that I have had... I think about them more than I should. This is the reason why I destroy anything that can bring back hurtful memories to me. Should I not? Great poem Kronk. I'll have to bookmark this one.
Date: 10/12/2003 12:14:00 AM  From Authorid: 21867    Ahh dude...our own memories can be painful...but experiencing other peoples pained memories can sometimes be even more so. Great poem man. Peace,

Date: 10/12/2003 2:00:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    *sigh* yesterdays dreams and hopes are remembered fresh when looking at old letters. Good writing Kronk. Hugs. At least in our minds the memory of them shows they are neither old or arthritic but sweet and young and full of hopes and dreams. But our lives have went on to better things and worrying over what might have been, doesn't put beer in the fridge.

Date: 10/12/2003 3:58:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hello Bethann I don't think that it's possible to "love 'em and leave 'em." At least not totally, anyway. Our minds are tenacious things. They bring forth the memories when we least expect it, always....always. Thanks for stopping in, cousin
Date: 10/12/2003 4:02:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Agent Smith Good to see you, man Yesterday at work was another sloooooow one..lol...I entered certain people's aka and "USM" into my search engines and checked out what was written. I always was a sucker for memories. Yes, it's cool, but it hurts to. Thanks for stopping in, my friend..
Date: 10/12/2003 4:05:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hiya Zema Forever is the word, indeed. I was writing to a friend a while back, and she mentioned that of all the illnesses, losing one's memory was, in her opinion, the worst. Painful as they may be, I still consider them priceless. Take care of you, my sister.
Date: 10/12/2003 4:22:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 21435    Hi Penny I can dig it. Every time I look in a mirror, I think, "That can't be me!"...lol...Memory-friends are ageless and, I guess that's how it should be. I want an ice-cold beer so bad..lol..but I can't enjoy it unless I have a few days off. And that is a rare occurence as of late..*wink* Thanks for stopping in, Penny. Stay sweet

Date: 10/13/2003 4:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 56489    Oh Kronk you have that knack of making people wonder. Awesome poem! I have a drawer or 2 full of memories from the past I haven't looked through them in a while at my moms she turned my room into a storage room, lol, I tod her what ever you do to my room don't get rid of this desk & don't put none of your stuff in these 2 drawers, lol. It tkes hours to go through the memories, due to a lot of wondering what could have been. Excellent read!
