Give her some time to get over it...she will realize on her own that is was a huge honor just to be chosen at all. Try not to make a huge deal out of the fact that she didnt win queen but rather that she won the position that she did. Out of 65 girls just to be there at all is a huge deal. And remind her that these memories will last her a lifetime  |

I agree with what everyone said. Congrats to her still for making the home coming court and although she didn't make it to be a queen, she'd always be a queen to you. It'll take some time to get over it. I'm sure she'll realize what a huge honor it was to be just choosen. I'm sure that there were a lot girls that wanted to be chosen but didn't.
