I don't know what this feels like cause I get OBE without even trying. It's weird. One min I am staring off to space next I am standing in the corner of my bed room watching myself. I've had them since I was about 7 yrs old. |

Get totally relaxed, being tired works best. Relax, find the most comfy spot on your bed, lay back, play some music-softly and slowly dose off, thinking about seeing yourself in your dream. Thats what I do. Or fall asleep thinking about my day or aout something that someone said to me through out the day. The other day I had an OBE where I saw myself walking, with my bf, holding a baby and laughing. I walked right past myself. I was like wait, and started to run and as soon as I cought up with myself and moved over, like into my body I woke up coughing (i am sick) |

The best way that i've found to do this is to go to sleep and set your alarm clock to go off in about 2 hours. When you wake up stay up for about 15 minutes and then lay back and relax. Most of the time you'll get this feeling. Good luck |

I had one when I was about 9 or 10 and saw myself sleeping in my bed, then floated out to the front room of the house to the front window and thought I was dreaming, then felt like someone was with me. I freaked out a little then felt myself get sucked back in as quick as lightning. The really weird part was, the next morning when I was explaining to my mom what I thought was a dream, my brother looked at me with his eyes as wide as saucers and said it was him, that he was having the same "dream" and he was right behind me the whole time! Since then, I've been too scared to try it again because the golden cord that is attached to your belly button when you are floating can very easily be snapped and that is your life force. Also, there are many many evil spirits that are just outside of our realm (that lurk in the floating stage) that will trick you into breaking your cord! |
