This is what I have so far. I plan on having 5 paragraphs, a intro, a past, a present, a future, and an conclusion. It must of taken me like 4 hours to write the first 2 and now I am really stuck. This needs to be 3-5 minutes long with allusion, parallelism, repetition, transitional words, phrases, and clauses. Also, I need to have 2-3 quotes. I chose Ben Franklin, Thomas Franklin, and Georger Bush, but I don't know what quote would fit my speech? Any ideas? I have a small vocabulary thanks to growing up not the best and now its hard to use the right words. Here is what I have so far.. “My Commitment to America’s Future”

What would a commitment be like without an education? At this point in time, the year 2003, Americans make commitments to just about everything they do. Each day, those that want to be ready for the future make a commitment to getting the education they need. By doing this, we will fulfill America’s future with the hopes and dreams that America will one day bring a positive outcome to all. We can look to the leaders of America’s past, present, and future as examples on how to use education as a way to commit ourselves to America’s future. For those in the past, we should never forget what they did for America. They fought for us all to be given the freedom, to have a chance to be forever united together. We should always respect the commitment that was made by all our veterans, for what they did out of bravery and thoughtfulness from the heart, that we as Americans, should be grateful for. One way to show respect for these veterans is by educating ourselves about the holidays that honor them. This will not only show the effort we put into learning the importance of fighting for our freedom and rights, but how to use the gift to teach others the same. Now that we are living in the present, we are living each day with...

Hope someone can help someway!! Thanks..All I need is to know what to talk about basically in the present and future paragraph. I can sum it all up at the end.

Date: 10/10/2003 6:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 51827    you can go to planetpapers.com and check out some papers that are like yours, dont copy, but it will give you come ideas. That is what I do when I am stuck. Other websites that have free papers are also helpful. just look through them until find the same subject your doing and get some ideas. So far your paper, i think sounds great. Some of your sentences could be added together though.
