I can so relate, I have two stereo remotes, a DVD remote, a VCR remote and two TV remotes, I spent half my time everyday looking for the lost remote which happens to be the one I need. Thanks for sharing, Take Care!  |

We have one that came with the tv, one that came with the dvd, one that came with the vcr, and two that we got from the cable company. We only use the cable ones though, because they control everything.  |

Growing up ,in my house I was the remote,had to get up and change the channels..so they would quit asking me, I would spin the dials real fast and get yelled at that I was gonna rip the dial off LOL |

Medusa...Oh I hated being the person to change the channels. I had to do that a long time ago with one of those real old tvs. I have 5 tvs in my house but only one hooked up and pulled in. LOL. So those are other remote controls added to my collection. |

6 Living Room =3 (Dvd, Tv, Vcr). My room = 2 (vcr/tv, dvd), boyfriends room = 1 (tv). I remember my mom and I talking about cellphones and how we find them to be so important but yet however many a years it wasa back we thought people who had them were only rich people or the people who had them, there was not really a reason for having them. Well then she was talking about her friend Judy at work. She and her coworkers use to laugh because Judy had a remote control for her TV and she was talking at work about how much a dilemma it was because she lost her remote. She was practically laughed out of the office, my mom and office pals were like just get up and change it...not these days! At my house house my idiot brother has a remote for his fan even! oh I'd hate to do a tally for how much is at my house. I'd run out of fingers I think. Good Post PSC  |

I used to have a lot but then I broke them all! I have to buy a new phone basically every year for the same reason... and I'm sure I break a lot more than those two mentioned. I really hate remotes though... just another way of being lazy. I've got one for my stereo system but I never use it. Actually... I don't even know where it is!  |

LOL. Thanks for everyone's replies. Kinda crazy to see how many remotes you have and how many remotes other people have, isn't it? I also have a remote for my dvd player in my car but I don't have that hooked up. It's suppose to be hooked up onto my steering wheel. I kinda laughed at that when I got that but I guess it's easier to change the stations while your driving. |

LOL ! Wow , those are alot of remotes . I have a remote for each tv . I have a tv in the kitchen , living room and both bedrooms . I have a remote for my stereo mini system , both RCA CD players and another for a JVC kaboom box . There are remotes for the dvd players and the vcr . I have tried cutting down on the remotes by combining remotes on those programmable remotes . My wife actually told me to go find a remote to turn the antennae off and on ! We had more remotes but they went down with the other tvs . I think I have like 15 remotes all over the house . Razzy aka  |
