I need some opinions here. If a friend stands you up and doesn't even call to say they're alive and next time you hear from them they don't even mention standing you up, isn't that them trying to get away with standing you up? And more, if you mention the stood up they say it wasn't like they planned it but never give an explanation. I just think it's rude of a person to do that. I'm the kind of person that when I have an appointment I always get there ahead of time and when I don't make it it's actually for a valid reason in which case I try to contact that person to tell them what happened and if I can't get communicate in due time I later explain and apologize. Don't I have a right to be mad; wouldn't you guys be mad too? In the end all I got from this person was a stupid explanation saying that the only way to get away with standing me up would be if it was planned which supposedly wasn't.
