God Called Home His Most Precious Angel *Dedicated To My Mom, Nine Years In Heaven* P*L

Today is an important anniversary,
Not a time of happiness, nor joy
But a time of test, faith, and above all, courage
A time of unity, where strength emerges

Nine years ago, which has felt like eternity
God claimed one of his most special angels,
And called her home

He seen the good deeds she did on this earth,
He seen what a beautiful person she was,
Both inside and out
He knew how much she was loved,
And decided to take her, for a very special reason

Although her time was brief, her impact, was tremendous
Through life, and death;
She has taught me the most important lesson of all, hope

I know there are going to be times, when I have to cry
Because your not there; although I can feel you in spirit
I will miss you most, on the days I truimph

I remember asking you, to teach me
To teach me about life, and the simple things
Such as driving a car;
And the most significant things, marriage and children

I've been through so much in these nine years,
And I only hope you could look down from heaven, and smile
For I have tried my best

I wanted to thank you, for making me the person I am today
Because through all the tears, I know your hand was upon my shoulder
And you cried with me,
I know how much you love me, and my love
Only grows deeper, the longer we are apart
Your the best mom God could have blessed me with,
And knowing what I know today,
I would still chose you, to be my angel
Nobody will ever replace you, or could

I look forward to the day we will meet again,
And only hope you will be there, to teach me
To walk into the light
