Hi SV...powerful poem as always. Sometimes when we are wallowing in that sea, when we are swallowing down those tepid waters, screaming merely causes us to lose more breath, opens our mouths wider and so we swallow more of the waters. Sometimes its beneficial to just rest...not fight...but just float for a while...conserve energy...till strength is regained enabling us to swim to the shore. Peace, |

HI AS I guess when it comes to emotional descriptions were on the same page. I completely understand what you mean. You make a great point but to be honest I never thought about floating.I always think sink or swim im to weak to swim in the sea and to be honest I'm more of a fighter than i let myself believe so sinking is not an option since you still owe me a cup of joe lol Talking about it seems to help in a metaphorical(SP???) sense. Thank you. *HUGS* Love, |

The thing with being a fighter is that even the most powerful and brave must still rest...for to fight constantly will inevitably bring defeat due to exhaustion. Hmmm...maybe some of those little inflatable floatie things you can wear on your arms might help?? Much strength dear friend. |

I like this poem and have felt similar at times to scream in silence. It's like screaming inside but nobody around knows the hurt and pain you feel. I agree with Kronk though on sadness can make great poetry. |
