you need to get all the forms filled out... if it's for school i'm sure they can help you... what part of canada... again if it's for school and it's Uvic(victoria BC) i can help you some.... help get you settled because that is where i live(i can sent you apartment links and such help you find a room to rent) don't get a passport too early because they only have a certian amount of years what they are valid  |

ahh yes i see you do have accommidation arranged...it might be worth your while to just do credit card... get one that is taken most everywhere(visa is most common from what i see) and that way you can work without a bank account and just carry a + balence on the card until you get settled and can open up a bank account |

airports are pretty easy... follow the signs...and make sure to tuck your personal info in a INSIDE hiding pocket....and keep your ID's seperate(IE don't carry your passport with your DL with your credit card.... keep those in seperate areas so if one goes missing your not screwed) also photocopy all your ID... other then that you have a ton of time |

your home country should have a medical stuff you can apply for while you are living in canada....(canada has the same) they are a buncha forms you fill out and you get a card with a 1-800 number on it and a referance number(i had to do this when i went to england for school... i had a stack of papers about 4 inches high that i had to fill out and such) |

Wow, thanks Midnightly! Yeah, its Vancouver, BC, pretty much in the heart of the city. I have somewhere to stay, Im moving in with someone I really care about so there is no problems there. Thank you so much about the advice to keep things seperate, that, I didnt think of. Thats a GREAT Idea!!! Thank you sooo much, thats helped a billion!
