www.starshipregistry.com follows the X-Prize very closely (I should know since I'm on the staff!) here's a brief article I posted there recently: "News: X-Prize Contest Nears Finale? Posted by Registar On 09/29/2003 At 13:06:30 (AP)Peter H. Diamandis, chairman and CEO of the X-Prize Foundation, said he expects that one of the two teams, Scaled Composites and Armadillo Aerospace, will launch within the next few months, using rockets and spacecraft that are already being tested and prepared for the daring venture." He expects a winner within the next 9-12 months. |
