Once upon a time you stole a glass heart
You set it next to your's and attraction did start
Telling it everything it wanted to hear
You were the only one then to damper it's fear
The glass heart thought it had found true love
And sighed aloud "This must be my angel from above"
Telling you all that I hoped and dreamed
Thinking I knew you were all that you seemed
Then one day out of the blue you turned
And the glass hearts fear twisted and burned
You dropped the glass heart to watch it shatter
But still to the heart you were all that mattered
