Yeah! Like the title suggests "Do you sometimes get lazy when on USM" As in for example, you click on this post, only to realize how Long the post is, and You then decide skip that, I won't read it nor reply...I mean People do like Short and to the Point kind of posts, but then really, when it comes to long posts, unless it's someone REALLY popular, people might read it...

So yeah! I know sometimes when I click on a post and I just scroll down to see how long it is, I do sometimes just ignore it, however if the title REALLY catches me, then i'll bookmark it and read it later, when I feel like reading!

So yeah do You?

Date: 9/26/2003 9:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 19092    As a matter of fact....yes. Same with LLLOOOONNNGGG replies. Some people go on for ever and never do get to the point. Or say alot without saying anything...
Date: 9/26/2003 9:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 60018    Hehehe maybe! I wouldn't say that I stick to the popular peoples posts though. I tend to read the people who I know better or who read my posts.
Date: 9/26/2003 9:41:00 PM  From Authorid: 53909    I like to read long posts as long as they have paragraphs because it's so much easier for me to read. My eyes tend to dance around when I read long posts without paragraphs.
Date: 9/26/2003 9:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 53052    i will skip posts if they hold little interest of the person is just using such back english it feels like i have to translate the post.. i will also skip posts of they are just a huge run on scentance.. OR just one huge-arse paragraph
Date: 9/26/2003 9:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 42568    I usually read and comment to every post I click on. I like long posts though... only if it is well written.
Date: 9/26/2003 9:47:00 PM  From Authorid: 56410    always. see, i'm so lazy today, i'm not even bothering to hit the shift key.
Date: 9/26/2003 9:49:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    Yeah, when I am really tired or not feeling good I'll scroll down and if they are LONG I'll be like I'll cone back later! *huggs* *+*Sarah*+*
Date: 9/26/2003 10:10:00 PM  From Authorid: 3125    Yep I do, but I usually don't read the looong posts nor the long comments anyway, and especially if they have been cut and pasted.
Date: 9/26/2003 10:33:00 PM  From Authorid: 62181    haha I do that all the time. I'm glad I'm not the only one! Peace
Date: 9/26/2003 10:56:00 PM  From Authorid: 34487    Well, I definitely don't let who wrote it make me decide on whether or not I'll read it. I couldn't care less about who the author is and think showing partiality is wrong. However, if the title isn't that interesting to me and the post is extremely long, I do pass it by. If the post seems very important or that a person is looking for help but is very long... I will read through to see if I can be of some help.
Date: 9/26/2003 11:03:00 PM  From Authorid: 60992    I bookmark too and say I'll read it later but you see, that is the reason why I can never find any of the bookmarks I want I have OVER 4200 I checked today earlier.I do have over 4200 bookmarked stories, that is more then stories I've replied to. But the over 4000 bookmarks answers your question I am lazy but I mostly read it.If I'm not so tired.

Date: 9/26/2003 11:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 20750    If it holds my intrest I read it! Plain & simple!
Date: 9/27/2003 12:09:00 AM  From Authorid: 22433    i dont' get too lazy about reading so much as it is the replying. i'll read something, then start typing a reply, i'd get half way through it, and change my mind. delete everything and go back to reading lol i can't begin to count how many times i've done that lol
Date: 9/27/2003 1:32:00 AM  From Authorid: 59418    yep sometimes i'm lazy *blushes*....
Date: 9/27/2003 5:08:00 AM  From Authorid: 23886    LOL! Yup..i do the same
Date: 9/27/2003 5:37:00 AM  From Authorid: 60162    I never read a post because of who has written it and I think whoever does that must be very shallow! Im sorry, but I just disagree with it totally. EVERYONE contributes to this site, not just the well known ones. I read the long ones in some areas, like horror and reviews, but not so much in the areas I dont really take interest in. But Im a pretty slack member in general, i read a lot but rarely post. Im like a ghost LOL
Date: 9/27/2003 6:01:00 AM  From Authorid: 53900    Well occasionally I will do that I dont like to read really long posts without punctuation or alot of misspelled words(not just typos but where the words are so unclear you cant even read it or where the person does not use proper punctuation it just kinda rambles on and on and on) but normally if I click on a post I leave some sort of comment
Date: 9/27/2003 6:38:00 AM  From Authorid: 35160    yes, i do
Date: 9/27/2003 8:12:00 AM  ( Admin-FA )   It depends on what the post is about.. and I could care less whom the author was, I just feel the post needs to interest me before I read it.
Date: 9/27/2003 9:25:00 AM  From Authorid: 25756    I'm guilty! Unless a post that's really long interests me like in rhe first paragraph or so, or is something that I can reply wel to, than I tend to skim it over or not even read it. I feel so mean when I do it too because I know how much time they must have put into it,b ut I can't help it sometimes!
Date: 9/27/2003 10:19:00 AM  From Authorid: 39370    Unless its just something that really holds my interest, then yes I sometimes do that. Of course, even with a really long post that I'm interested it...it helps if the post is spaced out by paragraphs. When its just one paragraph, then it just makes it look like it goes on forever.
Date: 9/27/2003 10:59:00 AM  From Authorid: 16845    guilty as charged...
Date: 9/27/2003 11:06:00 AM  From Authorid: 20296    uhhhh..yea, I do. sorry to say. I do bookmark them as well though if they sound interesting. I have too many bookmarked though. and KING! are you complaining about my comments again???:P bad!lol
Date: 9/27/2003 7:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 13897    LOL yes!!! i totally do. if something looks too long, i'll just go to something else. (^_^) unless i feel like really reading it. but usually, if it's made into paragraphs, i'll read it.. even if it is long- but only if it's interesting.
