I remember one time while I was working at a conveinience store we got 5 rolls ($2.50) of Canadian pennies from the bank, and they wouldn't take them back. We were stuck with Canadian currency! |

How far is this store from your house? I don't know that I would allow my seven year old to go anywhere unsupervised but your neighborhood must be different from mine.........<RegretfulHalo> |

Ditto to RegretfulHalo's comment, I was wondering about that same thing and whether the change was worth his going by himself. |

The shop is about a minute away on foot, not even that, really. He spends his pocket money in there each week so the staff actually know him by sight. I know it was only small change, it was the principal of the thing. He was happy to go back. |

Oh, well that's good to know... that it's very close by. As for the principle of it all... I agree with you. |
