As I lay on the grass Darkness descends The rain starts to pour Too many problems in life to mend
Minds wander and think Unbiased it falls The rain continues Unforgiving to all
Forgotten are those Who still bust rails They can't stop So for them it hails
She was stupid enough To pick up that bottle Not thinking twice While pushing the throttle
Now she drives And misses the sign labeled stop Layin in the mud dying The rain falls from atop
Puncture wounds in his arms Still he picks up another needle Continues to get a high While his life seems so feeble
They have the audacity To call it their weakness You made the choice So don't ask for forgiveness
One day I hope The sun shines through for all But until then The rain will continue to fall
