I know lol...I saw the previes to his new movie and I swear the first thougt that cameto my head was how he would make a really good rhett butler.....plus he doesn't have halitosis (poor vivien leigh lol)  |

i'm a gone with the wind fanatic also(i want to get a copy on DVD but i do own in on VHS!!) i don't really see it...but i don't think anyone close replace any of those characters...it's not just the characters what make the movie it's the people that play them also!  |

Yeah, he'd LOOK good as Rhett Butler, and he's probably play Rhett Butler really well, but No One can replce Clark as Rhett, he IS Rhett butler, the Character was formed to fit Clark Gable in fact, the writer of the Screen Play for the Novel, made the part Specifically for Clarck Gable. Erin-  |

did you know that Clark at first didn't want to do the movie and he almost quit because he ha to cry in the film but Olivia (melanie) persuaded him to stay. We wer close to never having him to drool over! lol |

yeah selznick wanted clark, he was is first choice. its funny. Clark made like 125,000 from the film while vivien leigh only made like 25,000 lol. |
