A friend of mine burned me a copy of this CD and I finally took it home today, after it sat in my locker at school for three days. And after listening to it a couple of times through, I really wish I had brought it home that first night. I can't get enough!
This band is so dynamic it's amazing. "Three Days Grace" has the feel of a hard rock band (though some would probably call it nu-metal) with some lyrics that I will admit are pretty easy and maybe even as far as stereotypical.. But they're sung by a singer who can actually sing, and sing well! Even if the lyrics aren't that good, you'll get lost in the driving riffs and fast tempo's, coupled with the singer's fantastic voice.
My two favorite songs off the CD are probably "Drown" and "Scared."
There are about two cusswords on the entire CD and some stints or screaming, light screaming, nothing that will make Little Johnny have a heartattack. All in all, it's a album that keeps the energy pumping and keeps you coming back.
In their debut effort, Three Days Grace has me wanting more. I highly recommend this CD.
