Everything came out as planned....but im not happy :(

When i was around ages 12-14 i was chubby, i had my curves and my butt and everything. Id look at girls that were way skinnier and i would want to be like them. but then again i liked the way i was. everyone liked the body i had, but i guess u could say i didnt. So i went through the hassel of excersing regularly and maintaining a good diet. and i got to my pin point (my stomach is flat, my hips have toned down and so have my tighs. but now when i look at myself or when ppl look at me, they say im a little TOO skinny for my figure. at first theyd say i was a bit chubby and that i should drop a couple pounds. I dont really have my curves anymore (my hips are down and tighs). another problem is, that i found out i had low blood pressure so i have to take a pill that helps me. The pill is okay i havent fainted like i did before, but whenever i eat i get bad stomach aches. im trying to eat more and excersise so i can gain a couple of pounds back and not feel so insecure. but i dont no how to go about it... Like wut kind of excersises i should do. I no a way to gain weight is to eat more (healthy of course) and excersise but im afraid its going to go to my stomach again and not where i want it to go.

Date: 9/16/2003 5:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 28190    I used to be like that too, real skinny, and then went into the hospital and they put me on steriods to help my lungs build back up and break the fluid up, and I ended up coming out of the hospital a new non-smoker and gained around 40 or so lbs, and on a 5'0" tall person it makes me look like I am way more overweight than that.. Thing is though, I am happy with myself despite that. You have to look inside yourself and be happy for being you, not what you look like and how much you weigh. I so much hate to hear a young person like myself think they arent what they should be because they weigh too much or too little. Ya know? Our media has so put out the wrong msg's to especially females, and its not right. The average size of females in the US is like a size 12-14... If you think you need to gain some weight I think there is a certain type of vitamins or something you may can take to help you gain a few lbs, but dont worry about what others think of you, just be yourself and happy with what you do have *huge hugs* Hope I have helped.

I went aneroxic for almost 2 years. I lost the weight and I love my body more then anything now, but everyone says I am either "too skinny" or "WAY too skinny" I really don't think so. I have a flat stomach and toned hips and a butt. Not like before...before I was round all around and I hated it. Go to your doc, or call as ask how much u should weight for your height...that will tell u wether ur too skinny or not. Don't worry about it hunnie. My bf is after me to eat all the time. he says I am too skinny. But I know he'd love me if I was 10 lb or 1000 lb. So, call ur doc and talk to someone in the office. They'll help you out. *hugg n luv* Sarah...

Before you start changing the way you look on the outside you have to make sure you like the way you are on the inside because if you don't you'll always be ugly in your eyes and there will always be something to change no matter how beautiful you truly are. Sometimes the most beautiful person is the person most comfortable with who they are. You seem to have the problem that you just don't like what you look like after you spent all that time changing it, but if you really want to change your weight and increase it eat more in moderation and do cardio-aerobics like jogging, plyometric work outs you can do on your stairs and those definitely help with your legs as well as stamina and blood pressure, sit ups/crunches are easy and fun, it depends on whether you want to put on muscle weight or fat weight too. =-bootz-=  
Date: 9/16/2003 7:24:00 PM  From Authorid: 57830    it's gonna sound kinda cheesy of me saying this- but don't worry about what other people think. *I'm trying to think back to health and about what was said about gaining/losing weight... i THINK {think being the keyword} that if you want to gain weight, eat foods with higher carbohydrates? maybe? i dunno, it's eat foods with a higher something*
