That sort of thing happened in my class today. This girl didn't want to fill out her map, so she stood up in the class when we were working and pondered aloud "Who is smart in this class?", then she went over to my friend and said, "Can you tell me the answers?" MAN, I really don't understand why people don't do their own WORK!! URG! Frustration builds...  |

1,Shes not doing her own work 2, shes learning NOTHING and 3, shes lazy! You do not pass for being lazy. Let her tell u off to her friends. Your the one whos gonna pass and they are gonan have to take the class over again. their loss. You did ur work and earned ur grade, they did nothing and earned a grade to. Only difference is theres is an F and urs isn't.  |

While most people would be disgusted and shocked at the behavior of that student, if I was ever in this situation I would certainly use it for some sort of prank. I would even go so far as to make an extra fake copy of my homework and putting answers that sound half right, but more hilariously wrong...but that's just evil Alien and her crazy pranks. Even worse I'm refering to myself in 3rd person like a moron. Time for bed.  |

I am so proud of you. When I was in your stage in life (1948 for me), I would never cheatfor myself. BUT, one day a football player sitting next to me in a history class was having trouble with the test. I moved my paper over so he could see my answers. Next day, my paper came back with a big F for flunking! Our teacher was also the football coach. When class was over, I approached him, "Why did you flunk me? I had all the answers right!" He smiled and pointed to my friend going out the door, "Oh, he got your grade and you got his!" THAT WAS A LESSON I WILL TREASURE FOREVER! You knew what was right AND TREASURE IT! God Bless you! Your were right not to do that. I just wonder what the point of giving homework is if all people do is copy from the net. The only lesson seems to be how to use a search engine and copy and paste. Not saying you go that... but I think many would. In a way it's just plagiarism.  |

That happened to me all the time in college... it sucked, when I wouldn't let them steal my work they spit on me and left rabbit guts in my jacket hood and pockets (I am a vet so we were around lots of guts)  |
