To pass the time; to calm my fear
In order to see your loving face
To be in your arms; to find that special place.
As the fire dims and the night comes to an end
Don't want to see our trembling hearts bend
Always the gentleman, you begin to part
But, I cannot let you leave, now that you have my heart.
I reach out my hand to pull you near
"I couldn't bear you to leave me, my dear"
So I ask, "will you stay with me tonight?"
