Isn't it always the way?

I've just been sat with my youngest son watching a kid's programme where they show you how to make things such as CD racks or pen-pot holders etc.

It reminded me of when I used to watch Blue Peter when I was little. They also had a slot in the show where they demonstrated how to make things. The problem was, if it was things made out of say, washing up liquid bottles, you had to wait weeks for your mum to have finished using it and my then, you've forgotten how to make the item!

I'm sure it's all different now what with the Internet; they could put step-by-step pages online of "how to's".

Thank you for taking the time to read and reply to my post.

Date: 9/15/2003 1:39:00 AM  From Authorid: 28946    I like watching shows like that and in our Sunday paper they have a lady that posts projects that the parents and children can make together. )(She also has a TV show called: Donna's Day.) It's fun to do some of these projects on a rainy day and make lasting fun memories with the kids. Good post.
