Well, I think believers in God find it easier to blame the Devil than God when they lose someone they love. I don't think there's a "wrong" way of seeing things... at least that can't be proven. We all have our own opinions and should have the right to keep them. |

Is this really a debate? You know I have love for ya Mack, but your opinion on this is very bold and rigid, so I don't view this as a real debate. So I agree with Doheney. |

And so you know, my opinion is different from yours. I do not agree that God takes a life. I believe that because of inherited sin, death is its wages. |

I believe that neither the Devil nor God kill people. I think that when Adam and Eve sinned our bodies were made frail and susceptible to death. Divine powers don't kill us. We die because; 1.Our bodies get old and break down (old age) 2.We are broken by nature (sickness, natural disasters, ect.) or humans (car accidents, murder, ect.)I think God and the Devil don't come in until after you die. |

Well seeing as I don't believe in Heaven and Hell my point would be pretty useless. But I must say that most christians believe something about the devil providing you with the temptation so that when you die you can be taken to him. I have heard that he doesn't kill but that's just what I've heard! |

I think you've been reading the Bible. I don't know for sure what happens. I personally do not believe in the devil. I do believe we go home when it is our time. |

I do not see death as bad or evil I see it as rebirth. The way I see it is your life ends but the soul dose not die so death is the begining of something new. nither god or the devil dose this it just happens.

I DO believe that God alone chooses the time of death of EVERYONE, and I am including those who commit suicide. I don't believe at this point in time that you "go" to either heaven or hell. I believe you "go" to the spirit world until Judgement Day and then you will either be taken to God's Kingdom or put back here on earth to live out your days until the earth becomes "hell", i.e., a burned up planet. I do not believe in any entity named the "devil". I know what the devil is, though. It is the term used for that little voice inside your head which gets you to go against God's Word and His Will for you. God Bless. |

I really don't know what I believe..I would like to believe in those pearly white gates and a Heaven, yet at the same time I also want to believe in reincarnation, and that we get the opportunity to come back and live again in some distant time and learn more about that part of ourselves that lives on, like a constant perpetual learning process with a few breaks from the education process here and there. Then again, I am often plagued with the fear that I should do all I can now, in this life, because that's all there is and there ain't no more, ya know?? |
