Hearing about things like this makes me so mad! How can they do this to their own children?!? I know a lot of people who would do anything for a child and to see people who have the honor and priviledge of parenthood abuse them this way, it just makes me sick. Princess Rhiannon  |

I saw this on the news this morning it is disgusting. I have a 6 year old and although at times he seems to be impossible to deal with I would never lock him in a cage...that is terrible!!! BTW I thought it was interesting they are being charged with kidnapping the police officer on the news explained that because they were wrongfully confined/imprisoned they were being charged with kidnapping. I doubt they will get much punishment for what they have done though even though I think they deserve to be behijnd bars for a very,very long time. They are some sick individuals.  |

I think they will get a severe punishment Jessica, I live in Phoenix and stories like these are almost a daily occurence now and the police and courts are handing down harsh sentences.  |

weow, this is so sad, everytime i hear a story like this, i swear, my heart just breaks. i mean, the boys are 5 years old and cant speak yet, arent even potty trained. i really hate parents like this. parents who have the nerve 2 bring children into this world but arent willin to be providers and care takers 4 their own blood. its higly ridiculous  |

Maybe I dotn think any punishment will be enough though these kids are nearly 5 years behind what they should be...they have never been able to move around freely and have never been given the chance to enjoy life. Their life up to this point has probably been like living in hell in my opinion. I could not imagine living in a little box all my life. Whatever punishment they get will still not be enough. Where I live(Orlando) there has been alot of cases similar to this and they dont seem to be punished severely at all. For instance back in the eighties there was a little girl who was severely abused by her step-father then died as a result to this abuse and he got life in prison I belive her mother who knew about teh abuse and did nothing got I think eight years...I would have to check the facts on this case but I think that is right...anyhow I hope they do get a harsh sentence and I hope those little boys will be able to learn to function normally |

I say leave the parents in the cages they are in right now and take them out for 3 hours a day and make them work to death. If the man could not take care of the children. They should have been in daycare or with someone who could care for them. At 5 years old they should be walking, talking, learning ABC's, learning to count. Able to carry a conversation that is understandle and should be very active. That is just plain insane. Being covered in human waste is freakin nuts. I hope they nail them and those boys get good homes and caught up on what they have missed! Thanks for the post  |
