Sitting in the dark with the sounds of crickets
Lurking in the background,
Everything seems so peaceful
as you sit and relax and close your eyes.
You begin to think of all the times in your life
You think of how you got here today and where you'll be tomorrow.
The smell of the fresh brisk air, fills your lungs with coldness,
You shiver as you wonder why that happens.
You open your eyes to see nothing but darkness
As your eyes begin to focus, you try to make out shapes,
Just like clouds on a warm summer day.
You realize just how peaceful you feel and wish it could be like this forever
Until you stand up and walk back inside when reality hits you.
Its was only a dream!
