Congrats on the engagement. BTW-Don't pay too much attention to what the peanut gallery has to say....some of them don't even have room to talk. Sure the odds are slim for a couple who is so young, but that doesn't necessarily mean it is doomed to fail. Only you and your future husband know what's going on and I am sure so do your parents, family and friends. They know you two and the situation much more than any of these people ever will, so who cares what they have to say. It is also a good thing you will be engaged for about a year still. Well anyway, congrats, hope everything goes well, best of luck. One thing is for sure though, you're gonna make a beautiful bride=)  |

Graduating from college (i.e. experiencing college-age life) before getting married is highly advised. Methinks you're both entangled by what I like to refer to as "unique-situation-romance" and somehow have mixed that in with teenage idealism. Not to burst your bubble. Rika, you know that if you go to that "other" site I'll be right there to prod you and pluck at your strings, but, much to my own disbelief, I'm telling you all this for your own benefit. There's nothing wrong with moving in together for a few years, as an engaged couple, while the both of you mature. Yeah, yeah, I've heard it before..."I'm mature for my age..." Whatever. All of us who've gone through that know the feeling and we now (most of us, anyway) know better. One of the many rules of life to be adhered to, 'Don't jump the gun.' Sound advice. Give it time. If anything will convince you to take my advice, it might this: I'll be right here waiting to tell you that I told you so.   |

I agree with Aqua Rose, when you two have children your girls are going to be drop dead gorgeous and all the girls will be all over your boy children! LOL .. (I just had to get that out!) LOL .. I agree with EVERY SINGLE WORD Chi Girl said, including the beautiful bride part. Who cares what they say. Also, I think that a long engagement could be a good think, it gives you number 1) TONS of time to plan everything out 2) Enough time to save some money, for when you are married! Oh!
