It's El Nino probably... It's just really hot here but I'm in Oklahoma so what else is knew. I'll trade you states. I have marching practice from7:30 to 10:00 so it gets really hot and sweat just pours off us. We look like a bunch of football players when we're just the band. I think tomorrow I'm bringing an air conditioner and a gallon of water all for me. Hey it's not enough for more than one person once you think about it! :P  |

Well, I live in Florida and it hasn't been as hot as normal. I mean it isn't cold, but it just isn't "heckish" like it normally is at this time. We are getting lots of rain and it makes it darn near cool at night! It is still hot in the day, but it isn't a wilting heat like normal, there is even a breeze. Some summers, it feels like the heat is a wall, and you are trying to dig through it. The air feels so heavy, but it isn't like that this year. I think it is going to be a bitter winter, even here. We won't get snow, but it'll get cold.<regretfulhalo>  |

DragonLady, NY has pretty much the same weather as we do here in New Brunswick, Canada..Its wild isnt it??? I cant get over how quickly it changed though..Last Friday it was so hot it was almost unbearable..and by Saturday...FREEZING!!  |

regretfulhalo I have a friend that lives in Florida..She moved there to live with her Father years ago and eventually settled and Married there..When she comes home in the dead of winter she is so tanned!! LOL..I havent seen her in a few years though..I didnt make it home when her Mom passed away a few months ago. |

Oh Hack I think I heard on the News tonight that they are expecting rain in B.C. God I hope so..How close are you to the fires?? So many have lost their homes..Its horrible. |

supposed to rain, but they don't expect it to make it to the fires but they are hoping... my brother lives in Kelowna and was one of the evacuees, but is back in his house now. at least untill the winds start up again, I am a few hours drive away from most of the fires and any rain we see here probably won't make it over the Cascade mountain range to the fires... or is it the Coastal range?... lol there are 5 or 6 different mountain ranges here in BC |

It FINALLY rained today in Texas ! It has been soo dry here . The sun toasted all my fruit trees and my veggie garden . The rain was a welcome sight . Now I can be assured it will be a cool 70 degrees tomorrow morning and not a stifling 90 degrees in the morning as it has regularly been . Sometimes i wonder why summer is my fave season ??? Well, may be cold for you but its hot, hot, hot here lol. It's been consistently over 100 since July. It got up to 111 in the beginning of August. Summers got a long way to go here atleast. Meanwhile I hope things warm up for you.   |
