*~* Which Browser Do You Prefer? *~* Hey,Hey,Paula

I am curious as to what browsers you all use or prefer? I have used Internet Explorer (IE) and Netscape and have nothing but problems with IE. I have not used Netscape enough to give it a fair rating.

I have heard that Outlook Express is a can of worms and to stay away from it.

I have Windows 98SE.

Frustrated...

Paula

Date: 8/25/2003 9:59:00 AM  From Authorid: 56293    AOL? Is that it's own browser?? Or is it IE? I have them IE things show up all the time. . So IE is permantantly blocked on my computer.
Date: 8/25/2003 10:00:00 AM  From Authorid: 10722    How the browser operates all depends on how you use it. If you use the right tools to work with it any browser will do fine. I've used Mozilla, Mozilla Firebird, and Opera. I've finally gone back to IE just for its simplicity, and it works great with all the updates. BUT I use Ad Muncher along side it to block pop ups, banner ads, and text based ads.

Date: 8/25/2003 10:11:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53961    Right now I have POW, StopZilla and Google Bar on my IE Browser. You would think that would get 'em all...
Date: 8/25/2003 10:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 15228    I turn on the computer and use whatever my husband put on here. I have no clue otherwise, but it all seems to work pretty well...whatever I have.
Date: 8/25/2003 11:22:00 AM  From Authorid: 53052    i have IE and no problems at all... you could try "opera" it's fairly stable
Date: 8/25/2003 11:24:00 AM  From Authorid: 10722    Ad Muncher is shareware, so you can use it for free for about 30 days. But you can use a keygen for it and get it for free. :P
Date: 8/25/2003 1:19:00 PM  From Authorid: 36901    I use IE. A good pop-up bocker can be found at panicware.com (they have a free edition).
Date: 8/25/2003 2:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 53909    I'm using Internet Explorer. It can be a pain sometimes but it's still good. I've used Netscape before and never had problems with it. I'm using Windows 98 too.
Date: 8/25/2003 2:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 53909    Oh, the only thing that bugs me about IE is when I get those stupid messages saying stuff like page isn't working or whatever and report this problem blah blah blah. I haven't been getting it as much as I used to though. But I still get the message when I leave the chat room here in USM.

IE and Netscape both are cooperating. Interesting I deleted a Pop up Window program and also a spy program and now I rarely have a pop-up. Go figure...
