VGHRS Archives: A haunting in eastern kentucky ~Zim Matrix660

The VGHRS recieved an email from a distress woman in early April of 2003. She reported lots of phenomema that had been occurring for the past 13 years and had followed her family from house to house. In early May of 2003 the phenomena became threatening to her family - that's why she contacted the VGHRS for help. The VGHRS will be conducted an investigation including 48 hours of survillence on the residence on May 23-25, 2003.. Also the VGHRS does not normally investigate cases outside of the Old Dominion; however due to the amount and type of activity that was occuring at this residence the VGHRS decided to take on this case. We did search the net for a reputable Paranormal Group and could not find one. (8/7/2003) - The VGHRS has been keeping tabs on the family and it seems that everyone in the house has been hearing a growling noise that can't be explained at least once a day. They also witness "shadow" figures going across the walls when no one is standing there. A few days ago the wife purchased a couple of porclein dolls - a grandma and grampa set. When she went outside to clean her vehicle she came in to find the grampa laying on the floor with all of this clothes removed. She was the only person home. Also she was awakened by "tiny" fingers tickling her feet. When she awoke and looked around no one was there.

(6/23/2003) - The VGHRS recieved an urgent phone call on 6/20/2003 at 1:00 am. The family was horrified because in the computer room they had been awakened by a loud crash. When they went to investigate they found all of the dolls in the closet were on the floor with the exception of a few that were missing. They phoned Rick and Bobbie and while Janice* was on the phone with Rick he heard a loud commotion in the background that was a laptop computer that flew off of the computer desk at Janice. Since that incident the family has reported closet doors slamming in 2 of the daughter's bedrooms constantly. The VGHRS is planning to return to this house sometime this summer.

objects levitating such as porcelin dolls Curtains and pictures are RIPPED off of the walls - the family has resorted to NAILING curtains and pictures to the walls - but they still come off Mulitple apparitions are witnessed by all family members Screams are heard Lights flickering on and off as if using morse code Large balls of light float through the house - witness by many people neighbors who know nothing of their trouble report seeing strange things when they aren't home attacks on occupants inside the house other incidents to numerous to list..... History: The wife, Janice Jones* started experiencing wierd things such as seeing shadow people/ shadows moving on the walls when she was just 16 years old - this is also the age she was married. Janice has had a very traumatic life - some very bad things have happened to her. She was able to live with these things until about 1.5 years ago when her entire family including a 4 year old son, 11 and 15 year old daughters and husband of 16 years began to experience this phenomena as well. In early May of 2003 her 4 year old son was attacked by a black mass that tried to suffocate him. This incident is what prompted her to contact the VGHRS for help.

The Investigation The VGHRS will conducted a weekend long investigation of the residence on May 23-25 of 2003. The investigation consisted of extreme survillence to try to document the phenomena on film or audio tape. The family has agreed to let 4 VGHRS investigations and one paranormal investigator from Tennessee come out and share their home for that weekend. The VGHRS will share their findings in the coming weeks.

The VGHRS will return to the home during the last weekend of September 2003. We hope to bring in additional equipment to allow us to capture some phenomena.
