We do get a warning, 4. All stories should be more than one paragraph in length, to make it appealing to the readers (With the exception of Quotes, Jokes, Riddles and where it makes sense). Reading the FAQ spares a lot of headaches in both directions. |

Yes, I know that, but people forget and make mistakes.... |

I think some admins do message people and give them a chance to fix it before it gets deleted. But, like Az said it is already stated in the faq. |

a warning would be nice.. what i don't get is if you have a very simple question and you ask it's deleted... sometimes you don't need to type a paragraph to ask your Q.... and i have seen 1 line fluff posts left up while some that are really proper questions deleted |

Midnightly there is always way a to lengthen a single question up...LOL. It doesn't matter what the content is, it stops all the others ones that make no sense. People take on ideas by example, that's the whole problem.. |

How is a short post a mistake? If you've got a good posting then at least make it have some decent content. |

I've actually been in the process of writing a post and accidentally hit the submit button and a warning came up and said that basically that my post was too short which, of course, was because I wasn't really finished yet. So I think that they do give you a warning before. |

They won't forget and make mistakes after all their posts keep getting deleted. |

Also, like Base said some do give you a chance to correct it first before deleting. |

Since I am a very talkative person in real life I can make a simple question post lengthy enough to not be delted But I do think warning before deleting it is good way to go ,that way the author can just adjust the post. |

Most Admins do leave an Author Only message on the Post itself to ask the Author to lengthen it a bit or in my case,I will sometimes try to lengthen it for them...In any event the FAQ clearly states "4. All stories/posts should be more than one paragraph in length, to make it appealing to the readers (With the exception of Quotes, Jokes, Riddles and where it makes sense."...Another thing I have done is copied a Non-G-Rated Post for the Author, sent it to their Profile to allow them to make correction and Repost it...On occasion there are Posts that may be to filled with Profanity,Abbreviations for Profanity,Masked Profanity or Sexual Inuendo which makes it almost impossible to fix,in that case it just gets deleted and a message sent to the Author...I do try to be Polite and treat others as I would like to be treated...Admins Volunteer here,we are not Delete-Gun carrying Tyrants who are out to "get someone" for whatever reason...We simply follow the FAQ which are the Rules set up by the "Owners" of USM...Maybe you should PM them if you have a Problem with one of the Admin Team here...What you will find about Radman and Ginger is that they are Fair to ALL USMers !!!...Have a Great Day and hope I shed some light on this for you...I Remain In Spirit, |

lol.. Linda and AZ covered what I was gonna say Starbright, also remember we admins are users too.. We dont expect the users of this site to be perfect, and as long as people follow the FAQ, posts will be left up. Simple as that *hugs* |

Yeah it would be nice ! Some times they do but other times they just delete them. Like one time I made a suggestion...(a long on) and it got deleted my a certin someone. And they msged me and told me i asked for it to be deleted. But, eh I never did. So along with warning, why not common sense ? |
