you might have mono! (you get REALLY tired) do you have any achy muscles? because that usually goes along with mono (trust me i've had it for a looong time once!!) |

10 hours-- you may be getting too much sleep!! I don't know about the cold thing-- my room has to be cold in order for me to sleep good...I think you need less sleep and more activity, it sounds like you are lacking motivation and stimulation to keep at attention....Try sleeping only five or six hours with an afternoon snooze. A nap in the latter part of the day tends to rejuvinate you until bedtime and then you sleep better and less.... it works for me and I am a lazy person when I want to be... |

I couldn't give you any advice because I have basically the same thing. My friends can sleep 6 hours and function and pull all nighters. I can't function unless I sleep 9-10 hours and all nighters are just out of the question. It bugs because I wish I didn't need as much sleep, but I feel like I have very little control over it. I do a lot of activities and excerise, and eat pretty healthy. My mom told me to try vitamins, but I really don't want to. |

One other suggestion....have your thyroid checked. Depression can also cause tiredness. That may not be the problem but a couple of other things to look in to. Hope you get squared away soon! I hate feeling tired all the time but stress and low metabolism(another idea) does me in.

i have a thyroid condition that makes me really tired if my medication is not at the right level. i also had anemia which required me to take iron pills for a while. the doctor asked me "how are you able to get out of bed in the morning?!" you might want to have the doctor check for these problems. they really helped me once i got them fixed best of luck to you. |

mmmmmmm, maybe a vitamin deficency...try some b12's,VitC,iron...but it wouldn't hurt to get a checkup to see if your body is lacking anything...just some simple bloodwork probably they'll do.... |

being too tired means not enough nutrients or that u have a medical problem. like depression, the signs of it are being very tired. or maybe you sleep too much. try going to bed at 10 and gettion up at 7. thats 9 hours. the average hours a person needs.... |

My guess would be Anemia too, I'm anemic (most women are, but some aren't near as bad,my mother almost died last year from it) make sure you get plenry of vitamines, mainly B's, and Iron, but you may need to go to the DR if its bad. |
