Hmm... well for me something similar happened a while ago. Except the phone did ringt and some little girl wanted her mommmy. When I said that she must have the wrong number she kept on speaking as if she couldn't hear me. But I don't know what's going on with yours - sorry.  |

It could be a call from someone that's blocking your caller ID. I know you want to hear it's a ghost though, LOL, so that's what I'm saying it probably is, since you said the phone didn't ring.  |

when somebody blocks thier number it shows up as private call. where the name was supposed to be was blank. |

I have caller ID too. And sometimes it just says unknown on it. But, it's probably not a ghost! Sometimes the phones just do that. It depends on what each one is doing at the time of the call. ~Kaitlin  |
