Go to the dentist! The Tylenol will do the baby far more harm than a trip to the dentist. I had to have a back tooth pulled whilst I was expecting my second son, it was unpleasant but necessary, after all, who wants to be a new mom with all the stresses and strains that causes AND have to cope with toothache at the same time? |

Also, if the gum around the tooth is swelling then it is obviously infected, just think of all that bad stuff floating around your bloodstream....and into the baby's blood! |

Call your obstetrician...in certain circumstances tehy can give you medications under close observation this sounds like one of those times...I had several kidney infections while I was pregnant and I had to take antibiotics and a mild pain pill while it was going away. I didnt want to but without it I was useless just laying down curled up in a ball. Also I know money is tight for you but you should try to get to the dentist. If you do have an infection it would not be good for the baby |

Being pregnant can make your gums swell and bleed. Mine did the last month or so. And also I always had good stronge teeth until I had kids, and now my teeth are a mess. So make sure you're getting enough calcium. |

My other wisdom teeth did the same thing when they were coming in, and they were not infected. It's already getting a little better, though. My doctor told me it's fine to take Tylenol for headaches and stuff like that. It's not dangerous like ibuprophen or asprin. That's what it says in the books I've read, too. If it gets any worse, I will go to a dentist, though. |

yeah, the doctor told me tylonol was fine too. hmmmm. anyway, i would talk to the dentist about it. i had all 4 wisdom teeth and 2 molars pulled at the same time, but the pain of that was nothing compared to a toothache! and running after a new baby won't be much fun with all that pain. toothaches are the worst! i hope you feel better real soon. |
