Going down familiar walkways
old steps being retraced
It wasn't too long ago
that I had been to this place
I'm Going back to visit
the things that I have missed
Good memories come with the bad
but the bad I will dismiss
It felt as though I never left
My memories from there
won't be repressed
Now that I'm here
I don't want to depart
But leaving here
is how my life will start
Moving on to better things
To experience what
I've been anticipating
But I'll come back soon
til my next visit
to see what I have missed
all the while feeling nostalgic
