Um. Thats kinda lame... everyone knows it as the moon.. why call it something else? They were satisfied with its name when they came up with it.. Keep it, why don't you! They're gonna have to invent a new word in every language for the moon's new name then.....stupid.....  |

Yeah, i was gonna say. The moon isn't called The moon, it just is a moon. I think its name should end in -OS. Nearly everything ending in -OS sounds spacey. |

Still, if the moon is a name or a title, its the moon to, I'd wager, everyone on earth. If anything, they should call it, like, Luna or something. BTW, the -os bit... Those are just Greek names from myths. |

I don't really know WHY we call it the Moon cos all the miny planets that surround other planets like Jupiter are also called Moons...It gets confusing after a while.
