I've heard of the 'Illuminati' only once before,and that was on an episode of 'Gargoyls',an old cartoon show that used to appear on..Disney...eh,anyway the only other time I've heard mention ofthe name is on a japanese singers album (so I would assume -_-) so I don't really know as much as I'd like ^_^;FE  |

Yeah I've heard of it... they have a huge statue of an owl where they are pupported to sacrifice children. It is a secret society. Talking of secret societies I have heard the Bushes Snr and Jnr are 33rd degree freemasons. However, I can't get any info on that. I suspect their membership of the group is secret. I can only find stuff on it from conspiracy sites. I am convinced they are freemasons.  |

LOL, the weird thing is that "secret meeting area" is like about 8 or 10 miles away.My freinds are planning to hike up there to scope the area,I've heard it's 2,000 acres large,deep in that region's forest.Maybe I should bring a camera or two and film the Owl structure.It's rumored to be somewhat acessable during the day time (till sunset,where its dangerous.).I cant believe it's being covered up and portaid as a resort, which is never open to the public.  |

Yea, they were started at around 1774 or thereabouts by an ex member of the freemasons. They were blamed for the cause of the French Revolution, and were even suspected to be behind the American Revolution. Some say that their main agenda was to get rid of kings and royalty, and eventually, over time, establish, secretly at first, their own leaders of the world. |

Illuminati also crashed the stock market so they could buy up all the banks of london and form the first huge bank in London. I wouldn't doubt that the One World Government will happen sometime (although I don't exactly espouse the theory that Bush's "One World Order" is the same thing). I say this by coming in the back door. By that, I mean a different approach. I mean, I have a different reason for believing so )man, got to lay off the expensive stuff(. Anyway, I can see a one-world government just by looking at history and the way things work. Several thousand years ago, we had little tribes. Then villages and cities. Finally, several cities formed states, or regions. Soon after that, countries developed. Sometimes, empires formed from the countries, but they all fell back, due to man's inexperience in controlling such a vast region of people. Now, the road still goes on. The countries have gotten bigger. The United States tried something new, and it worked. It united through a new government a third of an entire continent of different states. Now, we go to the next stage... |

The comments pop up about the "Masons" so often, am sorely tempted to make it my goal in life to educate the "ill informed" as to what "Masons"are really all about, just the first 3Degrees, and not even try my hand at explaining the York Rite and Scottish Rite,Degrees. In every state there is the hedquarters, or Grand Lodge,for that state.Anyone may enter, when open, usually 8:00 AM to 6:00PM. A library is available, though books may not be checked out but if any material is copied, the person requesting such will only be charge a small sum for each page copied.Folks, we're not a "secret society",we have no plans to take over the world, though I think some of the "brothers" I know couldn't do much worse.Sorry, that was my Democratic side speaking. Lots of books are out there about the "Order", most mix fact and fiction and come up with conclusions that do make me laugh because the read like the beliefs from , say, 1,000 years ago.My suggestion is simply do some readings about the Masons, by Masons, or by any author that can present an objective point of view. There is even the possibility that some of your notions might be proven wrong.For the record, I am a Mason,33DEGREE, SCOTTISH RITE,which simply means I completed the 1st, 2nd,and 3rd, DEGREES and chose to advance myself to another level within the Masonic Order.  |

In answer to 33rd Mason... yes most masons at the bottom of the rung are just good ol boys who know no better and they're really nice people, who have no idea what's going on at the top echelons of the society. You say you're a 33rd degree mason, but most only get to 32d degree. Are you, or have you been a grandmaster? It is a fact that anyone with any religion can join the masons as long as they believe in God. So mote it be! |

Yep Koolade, and yes they say believe in God. But they call Him, Great Architect of the Universe. Masonic ritual teaches that imitation of Hiram Abiff is the way to reconciliation with God, whom they refer to as the Supreme, or Great, Architect of the Universe. Now that is one god I hadn't heard about. Freemasonry requires its members to believe in the existence of a Supreme Being and also to believe that there is only One God. Freemasonry refers to its god as the Great Architect of the Universe. It teaches that all men, of all the various religions, worship the one God, simply using a variety of different names. It is on that basis that Masons may be Hindus, Moslems, Buddhists, or men who profess to follow Jesus. Freemasonry requires a belief in the existence of A Supreme Being, but does not define that being. Now I guess that is ok, except for us that believe that the supreme being is God the Father and His son Jesus. LOL, so mote it be, yep they have wiccans in there too. |

illuminati also refers to a bloodline. there are 13 degrees above the 33 degrees. They represent the ruling class 13 bloodlines, which interesting enough most of our US presidents, and ruling class europeans, can be traced to. There is one bloodline which the soon 1-world govt leader will come from. Why do you think all of this genealogy craze is so popular. The mormons who were founded by a freemason, have mass detailed records. They are searching for those who are in the bloodline. Interesting fact about the temple in Salt lake city, it has 33 levels, the 33rd level very few ever get to enter. 33 levels= 33 degrees. FB, why would it matter to the Christian if he belongs to a group with other religions in it? They are not a religious group like the mormons or j.w's; they are a brotherhood like other clubs and societies, and it is similar to belonging to a country with religious freedom. The difference is that at least in the Freemasons, you must know that only one God exists. |

I'd just like to add that up to a certain point you can belong to any religion as long as you believe in a God. However, to enter the Commandery you have to be Christian, so this ties in with what FB was saying about the mormons and JWs. |
