“It’s me, Julius.” “Ah, just you Julius, well go right on ahead. Who’s this lady with you?” The guards asked. “This, she, she’s my friend, Karen.” Karen looked up first at Julius then at the guards, and with a shaky hand waved. A large black gate with a spiky top opened up before them. “I must find my father Karen, you search for your people, free them and flee from here.” Karen nodded and walked to the side of the castle as Julius walked through the huge bolted wooden door. The sound of screams and pounding suddenly ringed in Karen’s ears. She followed the sound until she came to a large gap on the ground and a ladder just above it. Karen peered into the hole and saw her people. Most were covered in dirt, and others had dry blood lines on them. Karen looked to a girl, a small twelve year old. The well known girl who witnessed the death of Alice before her eyes. “Julie can you hear me?” “Karen? Karen is that you?” Julie looked up. A smile of hope came upon her. “Karen you have to get us out of here.” Karen looked at the ladder and pulled it inside the hole. Once the people looked at the ladder who seemed to just fall from the heavens, hearing their pleas and cries. They all leaped up and headed towards the ladder. As the last of the people climbed out, one of the guards spotted Karen. “Hey you, stop!” Karen pointed the people towards a gap in the dark walls at the end of the castle. They all ran quickly with the strength they had left. The guards grabbed Karen by the arm. “You! What are you doing over here.” One of the guards walked to the hole and noticed the quiet emptiness. “She freed the people! Take her to the King, he’ll know what to do.” You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 36994 ( Click here )
