I dont have to.. lol... I dont use those programs anymore.. And if by chance I am on there, they will be supoenaed right back, because I dont use them and their software for detection would be wrongfully accusing me.. lol  *hugs* Thanks for sharing Kirk  |

i wouldn't recommend putting IN your IP address to do a search on it..there is no list --think about it people...if you go there and GIVE them your address ----what does that tell them?  |

that's a neat site with the utilities..it said my net BIOS was on stealth and that no computer or port existed for my address as far as anyone can see --hehehe..i guess i'm safe |

Standard Internet behavior requires port connection attempts to be answered with a success or refusal response. A machine configured in this fashion is well hardened to Internet NetBIOS attack and intrusion. Unable to connect with NetBIOS to your computer. All attempts to get any information from your computer have FAILED. (This is very uncommon for a Windows networking-based PC.) Relative to vulnerabilities from Windows networking, this computer appears to be VERY SECURE since it is NOT exposing ANY of its internal NetBIOS networking protocol over the Internet. |

First off the EFF is there to protect peoples rights against groups like the RIAA,they have went up to bat against them numerous times if anybody remembers when the encryption for DVD's was first cracked,second if you want more information about the PACER system you can read about it here http://pacer.psc.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/links.pl#DCCTS and third with the RIAA sending out 71 subpoenas a day..I guess it would be better safe than sorry... |

I was wondering about this most of the songs I have on my computer I have bought the cds for so there is nothing they could do to me for downloading them??? It does not show up my user name but that does not mean it wont show up eventually though  |
