Was something trying to get my attention? *PunkStarChik*

Last night I was taking a short nap. I fell asleep around 6:30pm and woke up when the alarm went off at 8:30pm. So I turned off the alarm and went back to lay down on the futon which is in our living room.

I guess that I started to doze off again but then I heard a real loud sound. It sounded like something heavy hitting the ground right next to me. It was so loud that I jumped. At first, I started to think that maybe one of the cats knocked something over.

So I jumped off the futon, turned on all the lights and checked to see what could of made that noise. I couldn't find anything! I even checked the bathroom, the bedroom and garage. But I still couldn't find anything.

I called out to my cats to see if they were okay. Tigger was barely awake near the futon and I couldn't find Mittens. After a few moments, I found mittens. Thank god that they both were okay.

Mittens gave me a really weird look. Then she started to walk over by the futon and by the wall. She started to sniff at something and looking at something. I went to see what she was looking at.

She was sniffing around the heater vent and for some reason, it was out of the carpet. You know how you can pull the heater vent out from the carpet? Well it was pulled out all the way. I didn't pull it out and the cats couldn't of pulled it out. I asked my bf about the heater vent and he said he didn't know anything about it.

It hasn't. Just surprized me. As I was writing this post, I found out what the sound was. I went into the backyard and found a HUGE tree branch that landed on my porch. I just measured it too. The branch is at least 17 inches thick and over 180 long. It cracked our porch too. I guess that could be my ghost. LOL!
