that's great that it's gotten smaller --how old is he? i know once i turned about 21 i got a few moles 8-( 8-( i hadn't had before..but they're not to worry about - sometimes they come with age..i've even got an age spot on one of my hands now 8-P but i hope it all goes well with your son and that nothing is wrong.  |

He is 9 Heather..He has had the mole itself for as long as I can remember..but it started changing colour a while back..and raised out from his skin. The Doctor said it was a type of childhood melanoma. But today he seemed to think it was getting smaller and healing up..so it may not have to be removed..My son was relieved thats for sure..LOL  |

that's good it's going down..i know my little brother has one that forms on his nose, the inside of one nostral..LOL ------he picks it off each time..it's gone for a few months - and grows back..i told him he's gonna give himself cancer that way. |
