My brother used to be really scared of thunderstorms and I never really understood why.. in the long run, you're going to have to conquer your fear. But for now, remember.. the lightening can't get inside.. just go in your bedroom and play some soothing music.. maybe just lay in bed and read a book or something.. it will pass before you know it.   |

Calm down niecey. I know it's kind of scary, but it's not that bad. I think you need to overcome your fears. Just step outside and look at it for a second, then go back inside. As long as you have someone with you, you should be ok. *hugs*  |

I'm 25 and scared of thunderstorms lol..so dont feel bad  When it starts storming..i find comfort in curling up in bed to watch tv..or read a good book. Takes my mind off it for awhile.  |

I dont know about going outside, for me anyways, to overcome my fear lol. The whole reason I AM scared of them, is because when i was a little girl..my brothers locked me out of the house in the middle of a lightning storm. SCARY!!! |

I kno exactly how you feel! When I was little, gosh I was so extremly scared. My dad had a long talk with me tho. He told me all about lightning and how it hits the highest spot. and if lightning were to strike near our house.. then it would go for our TALL metal clothsline and that as long as I was inside I would be safe. Something about they way he said it and stuff. Then he brought out the Guniess book of world records showimg be this guy who got struck 7 times ans still didnt die! :P..  |

Well here is guess in your last life you were killed during a storm. Well listen to a discman try not to use electrical ierms that are pluged into the wall or running warter like don't go take a bath to relax during a storm or call a friend (sometimes it's not a good idea to use warter and electrical iterms during a storm) and read a magazine a book while you are listening to your discman.

eh don't feel bad.....I still run to mommy when the storms get bad LOL....I just always stick myself in a central location in the house and don't look outside and occupy myself with something..  |
