*What is a Ghost?*
Lots of people have claimed to see a ghost. What do they mean? A misty vapor? A disembodied voice? It would be better to have an accurate defintion. When people say 'ghost' they mean the spirit or essence of a dead being. Apparitons, ghosts, spooks. I don't matter. Even animals can come back, too. The thought of life after death is not new. Ghosts go down in history. And ghosts hunters work night and day to prove to the living that ghosts and the afterlife exist. By the laws of science of course.
*General Ghost Charateristics* Even though there are different kinds of ghosts, ghosts hunters have found general characteristics:
TRANSLUCENCY: If one can see behind the ghost (some can only be heard or felt), it is translucent. Some people think they are talking to real beings, until they see things behind their visitor!
INSUBSTANTIALITY: Just a word meaning 'no material'. You can't touch it or feel it. You'd go right through. Like fog, you can see it, but can't hold it.
