Okay if you play tennis and are of the female gender...which is easier to play in? A dress or a separate tank top and skirt? my tennis team just decided on uniforms today and we picked a 2 piece thing and i'm a little worried that i'll be tugging on the tank top or it'll bug me while i play...so does it REALLY make a difference with what you wear? thanks for your help...CrAzY CaSeY!

Date: 7/28/2003 3:27:00 PM  From Authorid: 45630    I may not be a female but I've played against and with enough females to know that most of them prefer to play in two piece costumes because you don't get the mobility that you normally would in a dress!

Date: 7/28/2003 3:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 3395    I went to college on a tennis scholarship and here is my opinion: The skirts and tank tops are neat, but sometimes the skirts will ride up above your belly button (if you get the ones that look like cheerleading skirts) and it is rather uncomfy. Tank tops are good and very comfortable. My favorite are the tennis dresses because the usually don't blow up as much as a tennis skirt does when it is windy. Dresses are very comfy, well... tennis dresses that is. Hope this helps! Peace,
Date: 7/28/2003 3:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 3395    P.S. But, if I had the option of playing in a t-shirt and shorts or playing in a dress... I'd definately pick the t-shirts and shorts b/c they are the ultimate comfy tennis wear!
Date: 7/28/2003 3:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 58427    I wouldn't know now would I....but cheerleading is ok on a two piece...except with our new tops they ride up and half my belly shows!! LOL!

Date: 7/28/2003 4:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 56293    We always had 2 piece sets. Our first uniforms were horrible tho..the skirts were so light weight that when the wind blew just a bit...Everything showed!! The new one's are heavier and don't blow all over as much.
