Through the gates of Hell Ive been. Journeyed to the great obscene, Saw the miserable, torn and dirty. Saw your face and changed my journey. Not expecting this to happen Faced away from all the feeling. Through all this you have kept hope, Into the pit thrown me rope. So I climbed and came to see, all the beauty given me. Happiness a new sensation Enveloped me in its heaven. My deception tossed away, I loved you for all my days. Then when all was going right, You offered me the greatest plight. From the tree we ate the fruit. Forbidden, and grown from poison root. It was good, and so much better, Light had entered my dark ether. Then the worm that crawled and squirmed, Hated me and made me cold. I fell back down into the world Of darkness and which men call Hell. Such a quick and happy daze, when we were not far away. Now that it will fade away, The worm still striking at my face Biting me in quickest haste. Lost and rotten I am doomed. When I'm happy, All is doomed.
