I think that she got too caught up in the "Britney vs Christina..who's better" deal and pumped her image up in an effort to be the sexier and bolder one. I like her music and she is an amazing singer..her voice is no different no matter what she wears, same with Britney..they just need to remember that themselves. But, it's all about image..so what do we know??  |

i like christina, shes the only one that i actually listen to that isnt heavy metal er in the group. i like her style and her music, and i think shes really pretty, and if i had a body like that, (im just a tad bit to skinny) i'd show it off to!  |

Can you really debate this topic? Well in my opinion I don't like her but I do not really know her either and no one unless they've actually met her can really prove a point about her except to say wehter or not they like her music. I don't like the video Dirty but I do like her song Beautiful. -That's all I can say about her  |

I really used to hate Christina, but after her new album, I really like and respect her. Of course she's scantily clad.. she's a performer and is doing that for shock appeal.. it helps sell! BTW, "Dirrty" only has two "r"'s in it. ;P  |

I do not respect her. She's a product of the industray. she's prefabricated trash. She started off in one genre and then switched because being 'sweet and innocent'wasn't popular anymore. The she startes dressing like a prostitute, changes her attitude and basically lets off this, 'spoiled little brat' vibe. Her excuse? "I'm an adult now. So I dropped the sweetness and goodness." Oh. Right. Because THAT is the correct way to go about being an adult! *Find the sarcasm.* She doesn't , in my opinion, have a good voice, and like Spears hardly -to never- wrist her own lyrics. First she was there to look like the adorable girl next door, now she's there to look like the heroin addict, stripper next door. She's a useless bulk of trash. Wasted space. And alot of people argue. "You're just jealous!" That seems to be a favorite saying of her faithfull followers. *rolls eyes*. Trust me hun, I hold my own without changin WHO I am, in order to attract a different crowd. IE: drooling senless, shallow guys and the mindless girls who idolize her and wish they were her. People who do things like that have no respect for themselves. It's pathetic actually.  |

I don't really like her genre of music, but I think she has a great agent. They have turned her around and stopped marketing her to children and marketing her to adults. It isn't that she wasn't grown, she just couldn't look that way. They let her get her feet wet and then they did what everyone wants to see happen to pop princess, they turned her into the "sexy, impowered stripper" role. No one believes people are as good and chaste as they marketed those girls as, and now neither of them are. Trust me, they are still in the middle of their "fued" it is just now "who is the most changed" or "who is the most grown up". <regretfulhalo>  |

I don't know why but I like her. She has a great voice and I love her nose ring (maybe cause I have my nose pierced too..lol) I think she looks so much better after gaining a few pounds. Girls look better with a little padding in my opinion. Peace  |

well i do respect her for the most part. and I do believe her when she says that the reason why she's different now from when she was younger is because of how the record labels treated her. they told her what to sing, what to wear and how to look. she couldn't be her own person. just because she changed now doesn't mean she was sellign out..(i mean i'm not doubting it..but its not for sure)  |

Well You cant really compare the two, Britney spears never had pictures taken of her when and put on her cd when she wasnt wearing a top and only had her hair covering her. The words in Christinas song, is a million times worst then what Britney has ever said. Christina is her own person and is all grown up now so I feel she is able to do whatever she wants. I dont think people should say "she is a role model, my kid looks up to her" Kids can look up to anyone. Christina and Britney arent children anymore, they wont keep singing for the children, their music is totally different now. Britney is coming out with a "so called" rap cd. There music isnt aimed for children.  |
