Dirty Dancing... I think the only reason I don't like it is because where I live every girl I know loves it and I have to sit through it everytime I'm at a girls house watching a movie with some friends. |

Well, its been a long tim since I've seen Pulp Fiction in what seems like forever. What you have to realize is that the movie (which happens to be one of the most analyzed movies of all time) is not played in chronological order. It's mixed up. The beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning. It is pretty confusing, which is why you need to know that before watching it. |

The film initiates with two small-time thieves, "Honey Bunny" and "Pumpkin", who spontaneously decide to hold up a restaurant. The film then shifts to the story of Jules and Vincent, who hit men for the well known and feared Marsellus Wallace, who is caught up in a deal gone wrong with struggling boxer Butch Coolidge. That's an extremely basic storyline of Pulp Fiction. |

Aww, Pyro I shoul have read that part where you asked why! I like Fight Club because the movie accurately portrays how a lot of frustrated young people feel about life in general. I don't condone the manner that they spoke out, but I think the movie is one of the most accurate social commentaries I have ever seen. I also like the Lord of the Rings movies, but those movies can't help but be admired. I also like the Shawshank Redemption and the Crow. I like the Shawshank Redemption because it makes me believe, even if for a moment, that good does triumph. And I like the Crow because I think it is the most beautiful love letter ever written for someone. The author of the original comic series wrote it for someone dear to him that he lost, and I find that admirable.<regretfulhalo> |
