I usually use ColorBlends by Freshlook or clear contacts by Encore. I haven't used the daily ones cause they cost a little bit more. The color contacts can cost anywhere from $29-$40 for 6 pairs and they only last 2 weeks. The clear ones I get are like $19 for 6 pairs. And they are monthly so that's pretty good. One tip I will give you, is don't buy them from your doctor. Get your prescription and go to www.visiondirect.com. They are SO much cheaper. Good Luck & HUGS *Brown Eyed Angel* |

I've been using contacts for a few years now. I forget what brand I'm using though. I'm using the disposable ones. Ones that you throw out each month. I didn't use insurance for mine. I got mine I think around 60 bucks for 6 boxes. Just make sure that you clean them everyday. Don't use them in the shower or swimming. Very important that you keep them clean. |

I use Acuvue 2 (sp?) and I am too lazy to take them out and put them in every day so I sleep with them and my eyes are now pretty bad. I have had them for a while.... not exactly sure how long though. |

I have Acuvue Daily. I think it was $90 for a three month supply. The eye exam was included. I've worn them for about 20 years. |

I use the Acuvue 2 kind (daily, soft). I'm not sure about the cost...I never really asked my mom about that. Um, I use the soft kind and with them you take em out every night and aren't usually slept in. I've slept in them once and they made my eyes puffy, dry, and itchy (I don't recommend doing that). My aunt uses the hard kind which I don't think you have to take out daily. I hope this and the other info you got helps out! |
