I woke up today against my will .
I guess yesterday , I did'nt get my fill .
But that's life .
Such is life .
I think I am gonna get drunk when I get my chance .
Get a little bitter and trash romance .
But that's life .

I think I'm gonna sail away .
Keep it in mind to look for better days .
I'll keep on looking until I find .
There are no longer mountains that I could climb .

I earned the right for the price I payed .
I'll shake me loose of these heavy chains .
And I'll fly away ....

Last night , I took about 100 pills
But I did not die and I did'nt make me ill .
But , that's life .
Such is life . .
I am drinking in the morning hours .
It's too late to call or to send you flowers .
