Clubby, thank you for replying. Here's some questions for you...Do you think God needs our apology to forgive us? I mean, if you have a child and they make a mistake, are they to be punished for it just because they didn't say they were sorry? Would it depend on the circumstance? Or would you love them anyway? If you still love them, but they didn't apologize, would you send them away from you to be punished forever? Just playing devil's advocate here. Your beliefs are yours alone. What is in your heart is what is right. *hugs* Love, |

Hi, Andrea! Thanks for stopping by. I don't think God is keeping a scoreboard, but that is just my opinion. I think that we are experiencing life for God...the good and the bad. I think there is no right or wrong. Just experiences. Many will argue with this, but I follow my heart, just as you must follow yours. *hugs* Love, |

K first off I'll start by saying i don't believe there is a hell. True everyone makes mistakes and sins every single day. I think that as long as person has regrets and remorse for the wrong they've done...they will be forgiven. Unlike those people out there who hurt others and never have any regret...just plain evil people. I believe if a person who has done wrong and has any kind of remorse is not a bad person at for bad people cant feel those emotions. I don't believe God punishes anyone...He loves uncoditionally. It is us that choose our own fate and whether or not to believe in Him. I think its dumb that fear was put into religions too. No one can be told they are wrong to believe in something or that they will go to hell for believing in something. I believe you dont have to belong to a religion or go to church to be close to God. All He wants is to be a part of your life and be recognized. I know you said you didn't want to start an arguement but with all the different opinions here its bound to happen. LOL...but these are my beliefs and I'm not wrong for believing them. We are here to learn because we wanted to be here to learn. We are allowed to make mistakes for its all part of the learning process. If there were no mistakes to be made or nothing to learn what would be the point of life??? Good post! |

How much is too much ? Well Yes God dos expect us to screw up . We all make mistakes . But got trusts us to come to him and repent of our sins. I do not think there is a real limit to sin. I think if you have sined and not repented then that is enough to put youin hell. Lets say you die in a car wreck. You go to church right ? Yo try to be good. It don't cut it. You have to be right with God . Believing in him is one step, But living like God tells us to, reading our bibles and loving him is the other part. Now piddly things I think will not matter. I mean if you're a smoker and you die today and you have been crazy in love with God and you live likes he says you will still go to Heaven...But I dunno that is just me. I know I am confussing people so I will shut up mookie hookie |

How will god know if we are really sorry? I thought god was all knowing and all powerful? I belive in literal gods, but not the "holy" god. Just live life to the fullest and don't worry about what happens after you life. |

every single subject faced, and decision made here on earth can lead to various paths, good bad or indifferent, depending on the comprehension of the person/soul... so, the learning process is infinite, and therefore judgment can never take place... jmo (oh by the way, in death the same theory applies, as learning would be perpetual for souls which exist beyond this life, this being one of many planes of existance) |

Hi, Pyro! You don't have to believe in hell to post to this. I actually don't believe in it myself...well, I do believe this earth is as close to hell as we'll ever get, but that's a different story. *wink* I believe heaven and hell are states of mind/consciousness. So, since our minds will probably put us where we think we should be (atleast until our souls talk some sense into us...), I'd rather believe in the best. *smile* *hugs* Love, |

Hello, Grey eyed girl! I've missed you and it's nice to see familiar faces. I think God must shake His/Her/Its head at us sometimes when we stumble over the same rock in the road ten times in a row, but I think that is our problem, and I think God knows it. *smile* We all actually believe a lot alike so far... *hugs* Love, |

Thank you, Ocean Singer! Your reply, as well as all of the others, is appreciated and respected. It's nice to see other viewpoints expressed as well. Oh, you didn't confuse me at all, hon! I do believe that, if you love God, than you must also live it too. Not because of fear but because of that love! *hugs* Love, |

Ocean Singer, I do believe in God. I do kind of believe in Hell too, but in the same way I believe in Heaven...as a state of mind. I think we will see just what we expect to see when we die so I'm careful what I think. *wink* I do believe in the afterlife...don't get me wrong. I do believe that God's house has many rooms (levels), but I don't think any are necessarily good or bad if you know what I mean. It's just where we need to be at that time, I guess. Does that clarify, I hope? *hugs* Love, |

Rowley, good questions and comments. Hhhmmm...I do believe God is all-knowing and all-powerful which leaves room for little else...like battles with the devil...(That's another post though! *BIG smile* "Living life to the fullest" and "doing no harm to others" are great ways to live! No argument from me! *hugs* Love, |

I believe that if you accept Jesus as your personal Savior and submit your life to Him, you will still sin, but God will extend His grace and understanding to forgive you when you ask Him. MSG me if you have any questions. |

Thank you for sharing your view with us, Jesus Freak. I am personally a great fan of Jesus. The New Testament is my favorite part of the bible. I think Jesus was, and still is, a great example of love in action. I do think, though, that Jesus was trying to show us that we are ALL sons and daughters of God; and that we can all get to God's house some day if this is what we wish. *hugs* Love, |

I think that we will be forgiven of al sins as long as we ask and as long as we do not do the only unforgivenable sin. I want to believe that our Lord is loving and kind as all fathers should be. God has been there for me -- even though I knew I deserved no love nor compassion. He loves me. This post is wonderful! |
